Fun collection of AC stories
A fun dramatisation of a good collection of short stories by Christie.
My one big disappointment is that each story is loudly announced before it begins which wakes me up!

Meh 😑
It's pretty good but it all became monotonous. It didn't keep me interested a lot of the time. Glad I got this as a freebie.

The usual Agatha Christie fun
I thoroughly enjoyed the readings - and story lines. David Suchet never disappoints. Great to hear another tommy and tuppence story

I'm not a fan of short stories
I liked the performance of the narrators, but short stories are not my cup of tea. I prefer to get to know and spend time with characters.

Woefully poor audio quality
Great actors/narrators but the sound was faint, indistinct and very muffled for most of the stories I attempted to listen to. I struggled to understand Joan Hickson in particular. Sounds like a compilation of very old recordings. Not suitable quality for relaxed or easy listening. So that defeats its purpose for me. Quite a strain to try to get anything from this purchase.

Typical Agatha Christie; out of date, out of touch
I've read or listened to a large proportion of Agatha Christie's stories and books over the years. I've even been to see The Mousetrap. It's taken some time but I've come to the conclusion that while the basis of her stories - complicated though many are - are valid, the people in them remain stuck in the British upper classes and the church. Christie's readers are awash with Canons and other clerics not to mention servant girls and the other trappings of the upper classes long ago. In individual stories this is probably acceptable but with an anthology such as this, it becomes simply boring.
