About this listen
Werewolves aren’t real...right?
I’ve been on the run ever since my father sold me out to the mob with promises that I could repay his debt. But no one can hide from the mob forever.
When they find me, they give me two options - pay back my father’s debt or sleep with the fishes. My only shot is to rob the most powerful man in the city - the famed Garreth Locke.
I get more than I bargained for - including the knowledge that magic is real, and Garreth is a freaking werewolf. Soon, I’m swept up into an insane world of wealth and magic that I had no idea existed. As the attraction explodes between us, it becomes harder and harder to keep my secret. I have no idea how I’m going to get out of this alive, or with my heart intact.

Okay?
I can't really tell if this book is meant for teens (and therefore I am not the right demographic) or if it suffers from poor narration? Perhaps it is both? The MC is "not like other girls". One of her quirks is that she'll read until she loses track of time - e.g. deciding to read a book for a couple hours when cleaning a room she's spent the last 20 mins moaning and being anxious about (she'll lose her job if caught!!) (Guess who comes in while she's reading? But since she's an absolute "daredevil", she manages to easily scale down 10 storeys to evade capture!) and that she "can't help if -other character- has the hots for me but I am thoroughly disinterested" (that's an actual quote). Like I said, maybe this is meant for teens? Wasn't the biggest fan for the narrator either. Not sure how to describe it, but it's like she reads every sentence independent of context from the previous sentence/paragraph? And so the intonation seems slightly off? I'd suggest listening to the sample before buying as the narration makes the MC seem seriously smarmy. EDIT This book has really good reviews on GoodReads so maybe it's just me
