Most adventures aren’t so micro
I really wanted to love this book. I go on heaps of mini adventures but all from the book seemed to be about sleeping outside mainly without a tent and different ways of getting there. Like on the train or bus or swimming or cycling and then wild camping. Great if you’re a solo male, not so applicable if yoI feel unsafe as a female or have kids (who you need to contain in a tent so you don’t lose them). Maybe 2 adventures that sounded micro and doable were camping in your backyard and geocaching, besides that they all seemed pretty hard to do and organise. He makes it sound simple as you just grab your bag and go but so different if it’s more than just yourself. Wish there were micro adventures to do with going to local parks and finding nature in unexpected locations, even just finding green on a map and seeing what’s there, mapping out your neighbourhood etc.
