About this listen
In a moment of desolation on a windswept beach, Garrett bottles his words of undying love for a lost woman, and throws them to the sea.
My dearest Catherine, I miss you my darling, as I always do, but today is particularly hard because the ocean has been singing to me, and the song is that of our life together . . .
But the bottle is picked up by Theresa, a mother with a shattered past, who feels unaccountably drawn to this lonely man. Who are this couple? What is their story? Beginning a search that will take her to a sunlit coastal town and an unexpected confrontation, it is a tale that resonates with everlasting love and the enduring promise of redemption.
*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.©1996 Nicholas Sparks (P)2019 Hachette Audio UK

Great story-shame about the narration
The story unfolded in brilliant Nicholas Sparks fashion. The Narrator was deadly boring and very annoying!

Couldn't listen to it - background was distracting
The noise/music in the background was awful and very distracting. I can't comment on the book as I didn't get past the first 10 minutes.
