it had a good, engaging storyline
the narrator has a speech impediment that dropped letters on the end of sentences. once heard, it was hard to ignore, so instead of enjoying the book, I would continually find myself saying the word correctly. 😀
it was strange because the same word somewhere else in a sentence had its T said correctly, it was only at the end of the sentence, usually.
sorry if I have now mucked up others listening experience, but for me, it was extremely off putting with this lisp, or whatever it was.

Have read all of the K L Slater books on here and no complaints at all. Great stories and great performances. Would recommend.

A Little predictable
Some good characters and story lines but the main character was annoying and the plot was predictable especially with so few people in the story.

Plenty of build up to keep you interested
Great storyline and not too many characters introduced. Narration was easy to listen to. Ending caught me by surprise!

Lots of twists and turns
Really enjoyed this story. A really well thought out story, with lots of twists and turns and nail bitting moment, exactly how you want a triller to play out! Narration was wonderful! I listened too this book, from start to finish without stopping, which cost me a nights sleep! I have listened to quite a few audiobook trillers lately, but they have been disappointing , with truly ridiculous plots and publishes characters. But I loved the main two characters in this book. Recommended

WOW Kate Slater does it again!
Each time I thought I had this story worked out, it would cleverly take a different direction. I really enjoyed the suspense and how clearly the plot came together, the conclusion in particular.
Narration was perfect.
** spoiler alert ** you won’t like the unsympathetic and heartless DI and DS.
