Much happening, speedy pacing.
While I did enjoy the first two books they weren’t great either. The character interactions were enjoyable for a while however developing beyond the personality first present and growth were quite lacking. A big part of this was the time skipping several large chunks and glossing over smaller interactions to always keep the big picture events in the forefront. While it does work with this style of book it left something to be desired.
While I am biased towards slower reading styles, the narration was kept at a high pace for too much of the book. A few moments for dramatic effect, or to just let the information sink in during important moments would go a long way.
If the premise interest you I encourage you to try the book. I don’t know if I will end up recommending his book to friends but there are definitely parts that will stay with me.

decent idea bad execution
main character is over powered and honestly the story is a mess.
This book is a nerds fever dream, long winded and really predictable.
every issue is overcome immediately by the main character.
if you like saving the universe, overpowered characters and pointless characters you'll like this.
oh and the dialogue is absolutely rubbish.
