About this listen
On the planet Entitya, on the island of Sinuatollion, Mendina’s father Susegi, God of Creation and Light, offers Mendina the chance to have her soulmate made for her, but she declines, having met her first love Tarius. She and Tarius live a life together and have a daughter, Solange, staying together for almost nineteen years. When Tarius is mortally wounded by Tajincour, son of the God of Darkness, Nefarion, neither Mendina’s kiss of love nor her unicorn horn are able to heal him, and Tarius dies. Being immortal, Mendina grieves for decades. It isn’t until she becomes a grandmother that she decides to revisit her father’s offer to make her a new soulmate.
Eros wakes up in Mendina’s family swimming pool, a handsome, intelligent man who has full knowledge of Sinuatollion and is more than happy to start his new life with Mendina. Loving her is as easy as when she told him to take his first breath and think. After she teaches him how to swim and hold his breath, she instructs him on how to shapeshift into a merman, to use his gills, dorsal fin, and fish tail to swim even better than when he used his legs.
Once Eros masters becoming a merman, Mendina and Eros become mer-people and swim deep down to the Southern Kingdom, to Prong Palace. There, Eros meets two of Mendina’s childhood friends, a merman named Lapis and a mermaid named Lazuli. Mendina and Eros also make two new friends, a pair of Silkies named Mathias and Gitain.
One day Eros, Mathias, and Lapis become tangled in enchanted nets thrown by pirates. The pirates capture the three hybrid men, and they are sold to Yolanda’s Side Show in the port called Ash-Nest. Now, Eros, Lapis, and Mathias must face challenges at the hands of pirates, kept in a limited water tank guarded by Yolanda’s enforcers.
Mendina, Lazuli, and Gitain are in hot pursuit to solve the mystery of why their men were taken.
Eros must endure these hardships and become a fighter as well as Mendina’s lover if he ever wants to return to his beloved goddess’s side.
As for Mendina, she already lost one soulmate. She isn’t about to let sinister forces take Eros from her.
