Stephanie Winston Wolkoff
About this listen
The former director of special events at Vogue and producer of nine legendary Met Galas, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff met Melania Knauss in 2003 and had a front row seat to the transformation of Donald Trump’s then girlfriend from a rough-cut gem to a precious diamond. As their friendship deepened over lunches at Manhattan hot spots, black-tie parties and giggle sessions in the penthouse at Trump Tower, Wolkoff watched the newest Mrs Trump raise her son, Barron, and manage her highly scrutinised marriage.
After Trump won the 2016 election, Wolkoff was recruited to help produce the 58th Presidential Inauguration and to become the First Lady’s trusted advisor. Melania put Wolkoff in charge of hiring her staff, organising her events, helping her write speeches and creating her debut initiatives. Then it all fell apart when she was made the scapegoat for inauguration finance irregularities. Melania could have defended her innocent friend and confidant, but she stood by her man. The betrayal nearly destroyed Wolkoff.
In this candid and emotional memoir, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff takes you into Trump Tower and the White House to tell the funny, thrilling and heartbreaking story of her intimate friendship with one of the most famous women in the world, a woman few people truly understand. How did Melania react to the Access Hollywood tape and her husband’s affair with Stormy Daniels? Does she get along well with Ivanka? Why did she wear that jacket with 'I really don’t care, do u?' printed on the back? Is Melania happy being First Lady? And what really happened with the inauguration’s funding of $107 million? Wolkoff has some ideas...©2020 Power of Every Woman LLC. (P)2020 Simon & Schuster Inc.

Another Trump Sycophant
The author is another Trump sycophant who really only decided to speak out when that hideous family's actions personally affected her. Up until then she was happy to go along enabling them. She is a big part of why the USA is in the mess it's in. Shame on her.

Brilliant piece of writing ✍️
It’s not too often I get to hear a book from the author’s own voice, some say you shouldn’t skip the expense. In this instance, Stephanie’s reading, was and as expected, exceptional. With the context of the contents of this book, it was appropriate to hear it from her.
I loved the content, the voice and the story that is backed up by evidence.
Brava SW Wolkroff,

Great but also strangely disappointing.
The book was good. Stephanie W-W narrated well. But throughout the narration I just wanted to jump.into the book and shake some sense into the author.
She was a doormat for her entire relationship with Melania, and seemed to continuously mistake emojis for real emotions. It often crossed over into cringe worthy.
I just hope that SWW never forgets the lessons she has been taught.

It's true, she is a fembot!
This is a great inside look a Melanias true self. Stephanie paints the picture so clearly of someone she totally loved, admired and excused but went on to let her down so bitterly. A fantastic listen!

No better off for listening...
Interesting and disturbing to hear the blind devotion this woman had for her friend, Melania Trump. The recording was pretty bad in some parts, which made for a very amateur feel.

Kudos to Stephanie
Stephanie's book demonstrates the Trump family/POTUS is corrupt! Obviously Melania is another Narcissist in the Trump Family. Stephanie was a pawn and sucked into their propaganda and cult, to cover up their continuing corruption and has been traumatised psychologically.
The recent books written : Michael Cohen , Mary Trump, Michael Bolton, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Michael Schmidt, James Comey, David Enrich, Jacob Soboroff, Glen Simpson, Jim Mattis, The Dangerous Case of Trump. Hoax: Donald Trump/Fox News. etc, etc. Not to mention.....Bob Woodward's tapes of Trumps admission to knowing how dangerous Covid19 was...and his upcoming book RAGE...All common denominators dangerous POTUS...its right in front of our faces! Alarm Bells are Loud

Well done!
Brave, honest, humble and needs to be told!!! This book is a true demonstration of how badly things can turn when people use loyalty against you.

TOO MANY EMOJIS
Book could have been edited to half the size. Was tedious. No bombshell content. Nothing unexpected, just another naive person who idolised that pathetic family and couldn’t see how evil they were until she was personally screwed over.

Emoji hhmm
Interesting insight but could have been half the length. While she has every reason to whinge, the reader can commiserate quickly enough, the second half of the book was just a narky whinge. Warranted as it was in her retelling of the core facts.
Maybe someone else as narrator would have made sense, Stephanie runs her words together, rushed New Yorker style.
And do you really need to note every emoji in every sms msg you sent and received?? It really doesn't play well in an Audio book format! It sounded childish, and became simply annoying.
