About this listen

The year 2020 was filled with an incessant amount of emotion that ebbed and flowed in a way reminiscent of a painful past and a hopeful future. This collection of poems is a result of how the culmination of an invisible contagion, racial injustices, and an overall feeling of wanting to get back to normalcy manifests.

Seane Shaw has always had a love for writing ever since his teenage years. However, that passion lay dormant until now! As a result of an emotionally challenging 2020, he was compelled to express himself through poetry, a first for this author. As he reflected on life and the never-ending pursuit of happiness, he thought it would be fitting to share his God-given talents with the world! Hope you enjoy this body of work as much as he did creating it!
