Publisher's Summary

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends With Us comes a passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance.

At twenty-two years old, Sydney is enjoying a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her—and she’s forced to decide what her next move should be.

Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge. She can't take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one.

Sweet and heartfelt

Amazing narration. A light but beautiful 'read'! A great audiobook to listen to on the beach

Absolutely loved it

I really enjoyed this just as much I enjoyed the other 5 of Colleen’s books I have read. I love the different aspect of the main character being deaf. Adds a different element to the story. Another incredibly well written book.

Love story

The performances were great, the story was okay. I found myself conflicted falling in love with the characters when their actions were questionable. Overall an easy good read, but I’d only read it once :)

A good read.

Not my favourite of Colleen Hoover’s books but I enjoyed it. I felt that the first half dragged a fair bit and became repetitive.

Too much

Too much - the descriptive storyline is overboard. I loved the idea of the story - but too over the top. Needed to be more real
