About this listen
2024’s most unforgettable romance that will give you ALL the feels! From the queen of the 'what if' love story
Dan is Emma’s person. She’s known it since the first time she saw him dressed in lederhosen on the tube.
On their fifteen year ‘dateversary’, Emma texts a list of everything she should have told Dan that morning.
Tell the kids to remember their homework…
And their gloves.
Can you defrost some sausages?
Emma just forgets to write the most important words of all – I love you – and by the end of the day everything changes.
Or does it? Emma is given the chance to rewrite their future – if she can just figure out their past…
Escape with the most uplifting and emotional love story of the year. Perfect for fans of The Man Who Didn’t Call and Jojo Moyes!

Great book
I really loved this book! It was so cleverly written and the narration was great too! It’s not often that I want to spend a whole day listening to an audiobook just to find out what happens next! I wanted to know what happened but I didn’t want it to end! So good! Highly recommend!!

Oh my heart!
I absolutely loved this story. It was so wonderfully written. And ooh the ending had me all snotty and teary. I think I even sobbed. The narrator was brilliant and matched perfectly to Emma, the main character.

Get the tissues ready
I recently read Maybe Next Time by Cesca Major, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. With a storyline reminiscent of Groundhog Day, this novel follows Emma, a stressed-out, overworked, and overcommitted mother of two, as she relives the same day over and over again.
The story is quite stressful, and I’m incredibly impressed with how Major captures the intense chaos of Emma’s life. She does it in such a clever way—the constant text messages, WhatsApp messages, phone calls, emails… it never stops. As a reader, you feel the relentless pressure as if it’s happening to you.
One of my favorite aspects of the book is the way Major tells Emma and Dan’s story through the writing of letters on their anniversary. This technique not only reveals so much about what has transpired over their 15-year relationship, but it does so in a deeply personal manner. As a reader, you feel like you’re part of their journey. You’re in it. You’re invested.
This isn’t a lighthearted story; you need to be prepared for the emotional weight it carries. Grief, death, loss, marriage, abuse, and stress are all covered within these pages. However, the lessons about what’s truly important in life make it worth reading. We might know these lessons in words, but Major teaches us so they reach our hearts. Learn. Listen. It’s important.
