About this listen

Maverick is 16 and is not yet a warrior like most Bubbalyons his age. He has never ventured outside the waters of Merrowa, until the day his father sends him on a dangerous quest. He must travel into the enemy territory of Deep Haven Woods. His mission: retrieve medicinal leaves from the sacred Alumia tree and save the life of his sickly grandfather.

Before he can succeed, a war ensues between the two tribes. He is soon captured by the tyrannical Feroarian King Treant, who demands that he travels to the Forbidden Mountains. Maverick, his father Dran, and three of Treant’s reluctant soldiers must unite as they embark on a perilous journey with the lives of their loved ones at stake.
