Very nice!

That might sound tame, but it was such an enjoyable story, with engaging characters. Lots of moments in which English and American parochialism influenced the story’s unfolding - always a clanging moment, whatever perspective was taken, but aimed at helping the characters to shed some prejudices. I’m not sure that the female lead character developed as much as the male lead, as hers was more a story of vindication, whatever her assumptions. Still a very nice story, with good narration.
