About this listen
Chris Faulkner has just landed the job of his dreams. But Shorn Associates are market leaders in Conflict Investment. They expect results; they expect the best.
Chris has one very high-profile kill to his name already, but he will have to drive hard and go for kill after kill if he's to keep his bosses happy. All he has to do in the meantime is stay alive....
Morgan's new futuristic thriller is perfect for any fan of the modern thriller. It combines the big ideas of Michael Crichton with a pounding narrative drive.

Really a surprise
Great story, excellent narration and a very interesting take on a future that at first doesn’t seem possible with a very strange combative idea… but it grows and makes sense as you realize how the society has devolved and corrupted.

This is one of my top 5 books of all time.
I wouldn't say this is a masterpiece but it's cool and gritty and packs punches where they count. Such a sick concept. Would make a killer film.

Fun and easy listening.
Another fun spin from Richard Morgan, some in depth relationship tension and a light look at a future which mirrors our own in hyper violence. well worth it.
