The Manimekhala is the second part of the Silappathikaram written by IlangoAdikal. This Tamil fiction was written by Kulavanikan Cheethalai Chathanar. It is a sangham-era work, like the silapathikaram. Manimakhala is the daughter of Madhavi and Kovelan the hero of Silapathikaram.
The impact of Buddhism is clearly seen in this work. The work was born in the second century AD. This audiobook has been independently retold and narrated by Vinod Narayan.
