About this listen

Is what we do with our money really any of God’s business? Does God mind if we spend money on ourselves? What about debt? Savings? Retirement? How much does God expect us to give? God cares immensely that we manage money with an eternal perspective. Scripture’s teaching on this subject practically screams for our attention. In fact, Jesus says more about money than any other topic—including Heaven and Hell. In a simple, easy-to-follow format, Randy Alcorn addresses exactly what the Bible says about how we should handle the money and possessions God owns and entrusts to our management. Filled with helpful Scripture, Managing God’s Money is the perfect resource for anyone interested in gaining a solid biblical understanding of financial stewardship. It’s great for groups and churches, too!

Wow. What an important book! Big thumbs up..

I really appreciated listening to this. I've had the book for years but didn't get through it - probably because I wasn't really ready.

Randy Alcorn in this book is just outlining the biblical truths found in Scripture: the money we have is God's, we need to manage, not waste, give and live joyfully and responsibly with an eternal perspective. Our theology of money has often drawn on the world's perspectives- not God's.

Let us turn around, change our thinking and change and live the way God intended- as HIS money managers. This book is an excellent means of learning: grounded in God's word, practical, and the author sounds like he is living by what he believes..strongly recommended! Oh.. it was narrated so effectively, thankyou! This listener is going on to Randy's " The Treasure Principle". 🙂🙏👍

Good book

This was a good book with a good narrator. The author focuses predominately on the giving aspect of stewardship which from experience is the most joyful. It doesn't contain many practical aspects to stewardship in helping people dealing with their finances but a very valuable book indeed.
