Loved it!

Marian Keyes is funny, insightful, and disarmingly honest about her own inadequacies and struggles with mental health difficulties. She is a great commentator on people and life, and is laugh-out-loud funny! I could have heard a bit less about how awed she is by celebrities, but overall thoroughly recommended, particularly as an audiobook as the narrator brings it to life with her wonderful Irish accent.

Like listening to a very interesting friend

I love listening to Marian Keys books Aoife's Irish accent is an added bonus. This book was more snippets of stories so it's like having a one way conversation with a humorous friend. You can put it down and pick it up without having to concentrate on a storyline. Very enjoyable.

Not her best work but entertaining

I’m a big fan of her Under the Duvet series and of her books but this one was not as rich and entertaining as previous. Still, kept me interested to the end, if only for the nice and light chatter in a delightful accent.

Marian Keyes never fails to make me laugh. A selection of short stories told only the way Marian can. Just the light-hearted entertainment needed to get you through corona virus lockdown.

unexpectedly good, in a good way!

loved this book, I thought it would be good but turned it out was great, excellent actually. I had no idea Marian was such a great person, and so similar to me in fact that I thought sometimes it was me reading my diary. great little stories, funny and witty - I think I've become one of her biggest fans. brilliant, simple, perfect little book
