Phenomenal resource for artists
This book touched on so much more than I was expecting and each topic so concisely articulated. As a life long artist I find the information inspiring and very relevant to todays struggles. So much about inclusion and supportive concepts with I’ve found invaluable matrixes to begin setting for myself. Perfect timing!

Good Narration some valid things for artists.
I really like the narration which made it easy to get through. (Beth should narrate for others)
The information in the book is quite good thought I felt it’s a self help booking with the words “artist” put in place of other titles. If you are unaware of mental health and self awareness this would be good for you. If you have that knowledge and sense of awareness it will be repetitive. Beth talks about finances CBT and mental health; it’s fully a self help book. I was hoping to get something more from the book 🤷🏼♀️
I like that she talked about social backgrounds and how that can make a difference in how you approach making art.
I did find a lot of the information is all generated for USA residents or related mostly to the USA as that’s where Beth is from which makes sense but certain info is useless if you’re not in USA.
All and all it was ok nothing I haven’t heard before in counselling books.
