Adds to and grows the Mountain man story, looking forward to 6!
This one builds on the story, adds more complexity and substance and without being too outlandish. Great addition to the series and really makes you thirst for more!!

RC Bray is king.
Gus goes on is usual, enjoyable rampages and a nice little twist.

Mountain Man 5!!! What a brilliant series!!!!!
Our Favorite Hero Gus! What a brilliant Author! You Must read all the series, It will keep you up at night, in total suspense! We got very little sleep reading this series!! Bring on number 6!!!!! Our lives are incomplete without the Mountain man and Colly! Move over and make way King and Koonts!! a New Horror writer is passing you by!!

This series is so good you’ll go back.
Seriously, I’ve re-listened to this book at 4 times now along with the rest of the series. I’ve enjoyed it at least every year for some time now.
The storyline, characters, action, humour are fantastic. In addition Blackmore beautifully describes his Canadian environment & touching moments of loss, love and hope between key characters.
The setting is very alien for an Australian audience which is another part of the fun. Our hero “Gus” is a wonderful ordinary bloke doing the best he can which most people can relate to. Especially refreshing given how much OTT military/ super hero rubbish is out there in dystopian zombie fiction.
R C Bray is the king of narration for fantastic and scary universes.
A must listen for a must listen series.
