Juicy
Everyone says this but it really is british gossip girl. #JusticeforTomEngland #Magnoliafumbled #BJ_no.1_anti🥊
The story was fun I obviously have a fav. Every scene of Tom had me kicking my feet fr💕. Like where can I find a Tom, whenever he was protective i was really biting my lip and twirling my hair FOR A BLONDE MAN 🫣. If i had to give any criticism it would be the overall repetitiveness, like I don’t need to know that every time BJ’s sees Magnolia he just wants to feel her up or how he loves lilac. Like whenever it was his pov it was a constant eye roll. or like whenever they have their prolonged eye contact and hes just interpreting the meaning like he’s a Magnolia translator. I understand its go show their connection but a bit too much at times. take that with a grain of salt cuz i just dont like him🥊.

As good to listen to as it is to read.
My only small critique is that sometimes BJ sounds like he’s an automated voice BUT it’s easy to get past. 🤣♥️

Incredibly Written
I didn’t know what to expect, but I didn’t think I was about to come across a new favourite book. Incredibly written and a moving, complex story with all the extra-ness that gives gossip girl vibes.

Frustrating as all buggery - even more adictive
I struggled to rate this book. I don't know if I hated it. I mean the characters are self centered, childish and honestly, was there no other socialite with half a personality that everyone could be obsessed with? With absolutely no plot beyond the two main characters engaging in the most obscene and toxic tit for tat match. And I'm convinced that I will not read another book.
On the other hand, I could have been brainwashed and dragged into joining a cult because I have a deep rooted need to find out what happens in the other books.
I would like to postface my review by saying this is no detriment to the writer. The book is obviously well written, hence the being invested in characters that I can not name a single redeeming quality for and the events replaying in my mind even thogh they frustrate the bajeezus out of me. The script is funny, easy to follow and quite frankly … entertaining.
I always say a book is good if it can illicit an emotion from me, well not only was I frustrated to no end, but I cried multiple times (yes I am a pansy), emotions nontheless, so I guess the book was … fuck, I think I have to go with cult option and say it was engrossing … even if it was hear rippingly annoying.

Story got very repetitive but was a very easy read (listen)

Amazing! Toxic and incredible!
I loved this book so much! I was struggling physically reading this and absorbing it but the audio was done so amazingly and I can’t wait to continue this series!!

Was fine
Whilst I like the narrators, the story is pretty average. I just felt frustrated with the characters throughout and the ending felt incomplete. Probably won’t read or listen to the rest of the series. Didn’t hate it, but didn’t love it.
