About this listen
The land is in turmoil.
Mages are hunted by men and gods alike.
With their last refuge fallen, two young mages must conspire against a god to show the world that their abilities aren't a curse; they are the only way to ensure lasting peace.
Under the threat of anti-magic fanatics, Wren struggles to find her place as a leader and to keep her people safe as they build a new home. Danoph searches for answers on a spiritual journey, determined to find out who he really is and where he came from in an effort to calm the coming storm.
The world has turned against mages, yet only they can save it.

Awesome story.
Great story and characters. Reminds me in a way of GoT due to the multiple plot lines that will converge eventually to be a dramatic explosion. I love the take on magic in this too.

Fantastic!
I loved this book! It continues many of the plot threads from the first, whilst introducing a few more.
interestingly, all the interwoven plot threads were well defined and easy to follow.
I won't spoil any of the plot, except to say that it is a bit less dark than the last book was, thankfully.
Otherwise, it was really well written and the characters were perfectly portrayed.
I will say that knowledge of the previous books is pretty essential, though so I would notrecommend starting off with this one.
All in all, this was a gripping story (and that ending, I mean damn!) that I cannot recommend enough!
The narration was also excellent as usual.
