Publisher's Summary
Marrying my enemy was never part of my plan. Instead of getting revenge, I ended up getting her pregnant....
Mia Lorenzo wasn’t exactly my top choice for a wife.
She is 14 years younger, a hopeless romantic, and in line to become the head of the family that just orchestrated my father’s murder.
Too bad my father's dying wish was for me to marry Luca Lorenzo's daughter.
I will unite the two families for my father’s sake, even if it’s just to find proof that they killed him. The only problem is my brand-new wife. That auburn hair, those bright blue eyes, and the way my gut twists whenever I see another man go near her.
Suddenly, making her mine is my top priority. But having a baby with her is a complication I didn’t predict....

Child like reading
Could it finish this story. Because the readers sounded to much like teenage children reading what is meant to be a very adult version. Maybe I’ll try the novel instead 😟

Miscommunication and misunderstanding before the HEA
Dante takes a bullet for Mia when she's 17, and she falls in love with him. Four years later, Dante's father is killed, and it's his wish that Dante marry Mia. It sets up the perfect opportunity for Dante to kill the man he thinks killed his parents.
There was miscommunication and misunderstanding throughout this book. The flow of what was happening seemed almost fast forward/abbreviated, which made it feel more like observing the book from a distance rather than being involved in it.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible.
