Wow 5*****
I’ve discovered Another new favourite author. Well done Karina Espinosa on your series, another favourite series to add to my reading / audible list.
It was well written and with my favourite narrator Nicole Poole was the perfect person to narrate this series, she always makes the characters come alive like their your friends.
Do yourself a favour, if you love supernaturals and a kick arise heroine read/listen to this series!
Off to listen to the Mackenzie Trials now which I’m sure will be just as good!.

The coming of age and into her inheritance with all the trials along the way as it evolved

Exceptional
Was not sure about this genre & found...I Absolutely loved it! Ended up having a listening marathon. The narrator is very talented & keeps you wanting more after personalising each character.

Another good series!
Another good series of well written books taking you through all the emotions. A good set of characters that Nicole Poole once again brings to life. I’m looking forward to the next book!

Great book but can be annoying
It's a great story, except the whole self pitty thing that Mackenzie continuously goes through. It gets super frustrating especially in regards to Sebastian. He could have been included more in the last book, but because she's so stubborn and 'independent' it means he's used and abused. I usually love stories that have a slow build up, but it is beyond frustrating the way she treats Bash. She could be this strong independent character, but she doesn't need to harp on about being 'so independent' ALL THE TIME. I genuinely feel like she lacked much character development no matter how quickly she should have grown because of how much she goes through. Yes, she does acknowledge how pathetic she becomes, but why she needed to be this pathetic and constantly driving this whole 'i decide everything'.
