Light
A lot of trans pieces evoke a poignance within me, but this was light, fresh, fun.. although, I still cried twice lol (chapter 15 and the end) 10/10 would recommend

Side-splittingly hilarious
Didn't know what to expect with this short audiobook, but I found it fresh, funny, poignant and moving. Some really interesting perspectives I hadn't considered in here, but all delivered in a thoroughly entertaining way. Can't recommend enough!

Enlightened
Wonderful explanation of what it feels like to be the wrong gender. Everyone should read this book and it opened my mind to why a beautiful post op lady I knew decided to end it all even after all the pain of becoming who she was meant to be. If nothing else was taken from this story that would have been enough but I laughed, I cried but most of all I loved.

Great listen and insightful
Good to hear Samantha’s perspective of what most people are perhaps not sure about - the inner thoughts, feelings and experiences of a transgender woman. Inspiring she sees the humours of her experiences

Performance was very robotic
The performance was very robotic and a bit distracting so I couldn’t really get into the story. It’s not really a story I was interested in either. I feel like it’s the same story for all transgender journeys so the story seems a bit redundant.
