Publisher's Summary
What’s drawn four damaged people back to Merle House? The answer could destroy them all in a gripping short story of the truths we bury and the lies we tell ourselves.
Matthew, Claire, Ian, and Mason haven’t set foot on the Merle family property since the summer they were sixteen. They tried for years to put their history behind them, to forget the mystery of the girl who vanished so long ago. But a powerful force from their past is still at play. This time, there’s no hiding from it.
Love the Way You Lie is part 4 of House of Crows, a four-part serial about friends with a shared history of darkness. They’ve spent their lives running, but they can no longer hide from the past. Each story can be read or listened to in a single haunted sitting.

The Conclusion to The Tale of the Dark Man
( House of Crows 4 )
I’ve enjoyed this story about four “Sumner Holiday “ friends and their relationship to the spooky, gothic , Merle House.
Home of one of their friends, Matthew Merle.
The place became a hangout for the sixteen years old, Claire, Ian, and Mason.
The place were they first heard the story about “The Dark Man” aka, Achibold Arcman.
The place were Emilia, the beautiful, dreamy, wayward girl, just a year older than them, disappeared.
Now m, years later, Merle House, has gathering them all back, along with Emilia’s twin sister, Avery.
to finally figure out exactly what happened all
Those years ago.
The truth, once revealed, will be shocking .
I have enjoying listening to this series on audible,
The performance by the narrators was excellent.
Reflecting on this series tho, bring me in mine of other stories of this genre, like “It” with the friends who, in their youth, are terrorised by an urban myth.
Only sometimes those myths are based in a little fact
Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
