About this listen

Prioritise the relationships that matter most with this guide to decluttering your life - from Netflix and podcasting superstars, The Minimalists.

Imagine a life with less: less stuff, less clutter, less stress and debt - a life with fewer distractions. Now, imagine a life with more: more time, more meaningful relationships, more growth and contribution and contentment - a life of passion, unencumbered by the trappings of the chaotic world around you. What you're imagining is an intentional life. And to get there, you might have to let go of some stuff that's in the way.

In Love People Use Things, Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus use their own experiences - and those of the people they have met along the minimalist journey - to provide a template for how to live a fuller, more meaningful life. The Minimalists have the tools to help in the fight against consumerism, clearing the clutter to make room for what's truly important.

It all starts with one simple question: How might your life be better with less?

Thank You Minimalists

The Minimalist’s best book yet. A holistic and practical guide to living with less. Excellent information regarding finances, mental health, relationships and wellbeing. Adding value with the exercises at the end of each segment. Would recommend.

The minimalists best work

Love that JFM is actually reading the book on audible. Great book, dives deep into relationships and parts of the minimalists story that they haven’t shared before.

Wise Ideas Simple To Absorb and Implement

A concise summary of some complex subjects.
I’ve learned and retained much from this book.
Having both the Minimalists’ voices on the audio made things even more interesting. Well done on yet again adding so much value. Really well written and the Joshua’s extensive vocabulary was enjoyable and enlightening.

Same story under a different name

If you have been following The Minimalists or have seen their documentaries, I suggest you do not buy this book. It is same stories for the Fourth time. I sincerely thought they have made more research and more guidelines for people to learn about minimalism but unfortunately, it's just the same old repetition of their one narrative.
Dissapoited I spent my audible credit on a book that I can watch as a documentary on Netflix, with just a different name but the same story. Iit sounds like the writeup from the documentary is just copied into this book.

Not worth the time

The writing is overly repetitive and comes across very try hard, like Joshua is trying to sound deep and meaningful...
just doesn’t seem like he really had another book in him, ultimately a pretty insufferable read.
