About this listen
Aiden Kincade hasn't had it easy. As the youngest of three Scottish brothers, he's watched his two older brothers fall head over heels in love.
Unlike his brothers, he is destined to be alone. Due to an old family prophecy, he knows whoever he loves will suffer a tragic death too soon. So he hides in the woods of Scotland, sharing his solitude with his animals.
But fate has other plans for this broken-hearted scot when it tosses a beautiful princess out of the sea and into his arms. Danger isn't far behind, but with the League of Rogues at his back, Aiden must fight to keep the woman he loves alive, even if she is destined to belong to another.

Another epic adventure
I loved it! The romance between Aiden and Anna was incredibly sweet. I mean it was SOOOO Aiden. I loved the mix of superstition and magic.
The Alexei chapters were so awesome and left me wanting more of this character.
I also loved how epic and full of adventure the story had especially when the League got involved.
I guess the only thing I didn’t quite like what the whole part in the inn in the first part of the book. It was a bit of a snooze fest.
The other thing that disappointed me a little was missing out on the sword duel between Alexei and his uncle. It would have been awesome to actually read it as it was happening rather than having Ash mention it.
Maybe it’s just me loving my sword fights but I feel like that was a missed opportunity for a duel of epic Westley/Inigo proportions! Lol
I was a bit disappointed that Heather Wilds isn’t narrating this one but loved that Shane East was. He’s one of my favourite narrators.
Not sure how I feel about Catriona MacRae. Her narrating felt a bit flat sometimes.
I loved the final chapter too setting up the next story and am excited for the next adventure!

A nice romantic read, full of excitement and intrigue
The breathy voice of Anna was very annoying, as were the incorrect verbal inflections at times. Especially with the Scottish accents
