Publisher's Summary
The #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends With Us held listeners spellbound with her novel Hopeless, the story of what happened when a troubled girl named Sky encountered a long-lost childhood friend, Dean. Now, in Losing Hope, we finally learn the truth about Dean Holder.
Haunted by the little girl he couldn’t save from imminent danger, Holder’s life has been overshadowed by feelings of guilt and remorse. He has never stopped searching for her, believing that finding her would bring him the peace he needs to move on. However, Holder could not have anticipated that he would be faced with even greater pain the moment they reconnected.
In Losing Hope, Holder reveals the way in which the events of Sky’s youth affected him and his family, leading him to seek his own redemption in the act of saving her. But it is only in loving Sky that he can finally begin to heal himself.

Narrator missed the mark
I found the narrator didn’t suit the characters’ personas and was hard to gauge and invest in to the story in some aspects.

Save your money
I'd not bother with this version and stick with Hopeless instead.
The narrator didn't suit Holder's character at all. I had read Hopeless 1st then picked this one after and found it was pretty much the same just a few points from his POV

A bit repetitive after Hopeless
Really struggled with this one, I don’t feel it was necessary as it is a complete repeat of “Hopeless”, huge Colleen fan but this one missed the mark.

Another box of tissues
Deans side of the story is so sad. He is so loving and misunderstood. I just want to hug Dean

Literally the same book as hopeless
Honestly this book was rather pointless. There was little new info or difference in the storyline to hopeless, so you literally knew what was going to happen the entire time. The narrator was also super annoying when he put on a female voice

Didn’t love it
It’s the least liked book I’ve read by Colleen. Too much trying to be sexy, dragged along rather than making the most out of the story. Would not recommend!

Suicide and death it’s way too much
Hated this one and it’s not what I expected from Coleen Hoover. Also hated this narrator
I like her other book though.

The choice of narrator ruined it completely!
I really wanted to listen to this book but honestly I’m struggling to get through it due to the narrator.
The choice of narrator was terrible and really didn’t match the character.
I can only assume that whoever chose the narrator had not read the previous book!
Frustrating and a waste of my credit!
