Publisher's Summary
The Blood of the Earth. The Breath of the Wind.
Lochlann Wilde is a true summoner at last, earning his Crest, the admiration of his peers, and a hunky fae prince in one fell swoop. With the headstrong Prince Sylvain at his side, Locke is finally ready to walk in his father’s legendary footsteps.
And to collect his inheritance, too, except for what he finds in the family vault. No one said anything about a fast-talking familiar. They certainly never mentioned a dragon.
But deeper danger awaits. Sylvain and Locke must untangle the twisted curse threatening to strangle all life, first in the Oriel of Earth, and now in the Oriel of Air.
They must face the Withering.

Loved it
Enjoyed the book. Love all the characters however i would love to see a bit of character change for Loch - less prone to reacting to his arch nemesis. I am looking forward to starting book 3.

Captivating
This second book builds on to the plot established in the first. The threat of the withering is growing and Locke is being sucked completely into this unfortunate happening. He has also caught the attention of Aphrodite. It remains to b seen if this will ultimately be a good or bad thing. The narration was once again of an excellent quality. I personally can’t wait to continue on this captivating tale in book three. The series is heating up nicely. (If you listen closely enough you should hear my mad enthusiastic manic cackling closely following on the hells of that last statement. I have completely immersed myself and been taken over. Perhaps I’ve been summons into the realm of the book. Who knows.)
