A wonderful adventure
Voodoo, snakes, and Lord John. A wonderful adventure giving us a little taste of life for Lord John in Jamaica. Wonderfully read by Jeff Woodman - he is masterful!

A great story
I love Diana Gabaldon’s writing and all her characters, Lord John Grey is actually one of my favourites, and I very much enjoyed this story.
However, as personal preference, I greatly prefer the full sized novels.

Light reading
Not the most memorable in the series. Light reading compared to the other Lord John novelette.
