Who came first??
Sooo similar plot to Nicci French.
The exact same story, written by different authors.
Wasn't bad by all means but same story line.
I read Nicci French first, so that's my choice 😘

Bit of a struggle but got through it
Found it a bit hard going to keep listening to this book due to the breathy narration and the writing style of the author. I became quite bored of the repetitive and overly descriptive narration of the main characters every single thought. It was obvious from the start who was messing with her head, just took forever to get there.

Good old fashioned thriller in its best tradition
Chloe Benson wakes up in a dark dank room with her hands tied behind her back and no memory of how she got there.
So begins our story. The next 38 chapters take us through Chloe's journey to discover her lost memories. All the while her creepy controlling husband who seems so loving and attentive to outsiders does his best to undermine her faith in herself.
Is she going mad, or could he have something to do with the whole thing.
A real page turner. I recommend it.

Awful!
The main character in this book is so stupid you actually feel she deserves everything she gets! What an overwhelming waste of time. Thankfully Audible refunds when you make poor purchases!
