Thrilling, mysterious and gripping
I’m eager to know more, the fast paced plot, the characters and the constant mysteries. The cliffhanger ending - perfect.
Cannot wait to know what happens next. Just the right amount of spooky.

Perfect balance. A fun read.
Such a fun read. Just the right mix of on the edge of your seat tension, mystery and humour. The reader is perfectly polished and a delight to listen to.

Addictive!
Another excellent book by Stroud, I'm hooked on this series and I love his story telling. However, I must admit I'm disappointed that they changed the narrator between book one and two. Once you get used to the voices of one narrator, it sounds all wrong to hear them change suddenly, and as good as the second narrator was, I didn't enjoy her reading or voices as much as the first...

The characters, storyline and performance develop further. Really enjoyable books for those who love detective / magic / urban fiction vibez.
