About this listen
Juggling two jobs is nothing new for registered nurse Hillary Glenwood; she’s been doing it for most of her adult life. She has an objective she intends to meet. But, just months before reaching her goal, she witnesses a violent attack outside her apartment that rattles her determination.
However, her carefully controlled life runs completely off the rails when she recognizes the new neighbor coming to the rescue.
As a hacker, Radar Jansen hasn’t always used his expertise in the most respectable ways, until he came to work for PASS Security. Normally his time is spent behind a computer, but that doesn’t mean his skills end there.
While walking his dog one night, he sees a familiar woman rushing into a dangerous situation. His training kicks in.
With Hillary’s safety compromised, the keyboard warrior puts on his real life armor to shield the woman who is fast becoming his only focus.

definitely a more suspense/geek story.
lots of computer wizards coming out to play for this book and freya does a great job with piecing a tricky suspense plot together. it started out looking like the h is going to be like book 1 and 2. however freya writes a different plot with a different angle this time. The h is still skittish re romance but is pretty cool when it comes to steamy scenes with radar.
This novel's topic is relevant today and shows the listener how easy it is in cyber world.
the H isn't as geeky as he makes out, we know that from his gym encounters in book 2. I'm finding
the tone on the romance side of the book is a little lighter that the H and h's in previous novels.
I'm enjoying the h as she's strong, orientated, independent and sassy. the H I wanted to slap a few times although I think he was supposed to be a dick due to being a geek. the book rounds of nicely letting us float down into family life. I'm not sure if it was the female narrator Simone and her counterpart Tor, but I didn't feel the connection a strong between the leading couples
I've listened to Tor before and he does a good job but Simone tends to slip Into monotone dialogue and along with her inflections it kinda falls flat.
I really liked where this story went and enjoyed the teams interaction....its such a good concept.
