Elise King is a successful and ambitious detective—or she was, before medical leave left her unsure if she'd ever return to work. I like Fiona Barton stories. And this narrators are terrific well written and narrators a1

Bit cosy crime for me but pretty dang good
Seems like ever since game of thrones - almost all books nowadays don't have chapters anymore - just the names of the characters as we jump from one to the next - and each is portrayed by a different actor in the audiobook - which is fine by me - so long as the writing's good and the story - which this is...

Boring
I couldn’t get into the story as it was incredibly boringly narrated. Couldn’t even get past the halfway mark.

Terribly slow
Extremely slow pace and boring. Couldn’t get passed the first five chapters. Shame as it had good reviews.
