About this listen
This isn't a game. This is his new life.
An epic LitRPG adventure about a family trapped in a game-world called Eloria with no way out.
Dave has been wandering through life for a long time. His day job bores him, and he never seems to be able to meet his family's expectations. The only escape he's ever had is his love of MMORPGs.
But when he becomes the subject of a test without even knowing it, he's transported into a game-world called Eloria with no escape. It's a frequent daydream of his; however, in none of those dreams did his wife and daughter ever accompany him.
Now, Dave must balance protecting his family with exploring his dream...oh, and trying to stay alive. Monstrous beasts roam Eloria; worst of all, an undead army led by the vile Death Knight.
He'll have to adapt fast and learn to cooperate if he hopes to make a new home for his family. And just maybe, along the way, he'll find out why they're living a life in exile.
Experience the first three books in a LitRPG saga perfect for fans of C.M Carney, Blaise Corvin, and Charles Dean.
Narrated by Peter Berkrot (Alpha World, Earth Force). More than 50 hours.

Great diversity.
I’m enjoying the story but not so much the family dynamic. To much brow beating the father and making him walk on eggshells. Needs to grow a pair and less focus on boosting everyone else so easily bar the father. I’ve got my fingers crossed this series gets better.

Not good
The author seems to be harbouring a lot of pent up frustration and it clearly shows in his work. His lust and envy make the characters seem dull and childish. Especially when he is portraying his idea of adults. The narrator was dull and although what he was reading was way to pretentious and dull simultaneously he didn’t help with his snake like voice over empathising the s sound. Although atleast he improves through the narrative. It was all round terrible. I wouldn’t normally post a review if I wasn’t giving a good rating. But damn this is the worst book I have ever heard. And I’ve read a lot and listened to a lot. And I get that most people don’t appreciate the complexity of litrpg style books, but I love the style I just hate this book. I doubt I could write anything better. But I can’t write either. Too many stat dumps and useless info. Too many switches between perspectives jumping back and forth over a short period of time not progressing the story. Too much oh we need to fight over petty shit but I love you. Like damn books are supposed to be an escape but your book made me feel so damn annoyed. Like it was absolutely horrible. I would feel mean saying all this but after suffering this garbage I have to express how bad it is.

Not worth the time
Poor narration, and overall weak story. I really tried, but it never improved. The characters are two dimensional, at best.
