Clifhanger finish!
This book was well written and had some decent laughs. The combination of Sebastian York 🥵 and the duet narration was 👌.
OMG, I wanted to 🔫 Kirill for his 🍑hole decision 🤬 Not cool, buddy. Not cool. “In and of itself” is said a lot. Like, A. LOT. Otherwise, a good book, with an OMG a cliffhanger finish!! Can't wait for the final installment.

Enjoying this Trilogy
Looking forward to Book 3.
I have enjoyed all of Rina Kent’s mafia series and this one is no different. Both narrators were awesome and both are easy and enjoyable to listen to.

Incredible
I adored this series! So descriptive throughout the books, it almost feels like I was there watching from the edge of my seat. I could see this as a movie just as it is written, without any producers embellishments.
I wish all audiobooks had duel narration it works so well. The narrators jointly brought this story to it's peaks and lows to a very riveting end. Highly recommended. This author has hit my favourites list. Thank you for your obvious talent. 👏

Kirill counts how often he's inside Aleksandra
Book 2 of the Monster trilogy didn't disappoint. The cliffhanger was great, and I jumped straight away to book 3.
The cast of characters in this series is fantastic. It's like getting several stories in one.
Kirill is still his hard and stubborn self. Aleksandra is misled with detrimental results that cause tremendous suffering by Kirill. The emotions were definitely being impacted in this book.
I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good duet style audio.

The twists have you twisting
I read this series for the plot. Now I can here you sniggering, thinking this is one of those memes where the plot is then some hunky beast that you want to climb like a tree (fictionally of course). Well ... no.
Don’t get me wrong, there was a hunky main character and in the beginning he even had those swoony qualities I like to theoretically drool over. Kirill was what main characters are made from and objectionably I can see the allure. This however, was not why I kept reading, frankly the love connection was somewhat lacking in my opinion. I can kind of see why Sasha would be enamoured, he was a great fighter, wealthy, head of the mafia-like thingy, ambitious. Sure.
On the flipside, it kind of felt like Sasha could have been anyone for Kirill, as long as she was happy to be choked with a belt during intercourse, he was going to be on board. Not that there is anything wrong with that particular desire, it’s just that it felt like it didn’t go any further than that. Three books and I could not list three things either of them liked about the other.
Enough about that though - the plot, the stuff in the background was actually kind of great. There were lots of twists and turns. So many lies, so much betrayal, so many hidden identities, hidden love interests.
So as utterly unbelievable it may be, these books were actually read for the plot!
