About this listen
In the darkness, you can't always trust the light....
A year has passed since the cataclysmic impact of asteroid AG5. Whilst Earth's survivors struggle against a devastating winter, the world's finest assemble on the International Space Station for a covert mission that could change the course of civilization.
Back in the US, former director general Steiner is due to stand trial for masterminding heinous acts of terror. As calls for the death penalty gain momentum, those that sit in judgment are unaware that Steiner holds the key to the survival of the entire human race.
Meanwhile, marooned in separate locations within the colossal underground realm known as "Sanctuary", Sarah Morgan and Richard Goodwin are fighting for their lives to reach the surface. Unbeknownst to them, their shared purpose is about to awaken a terrifying denizen of the deep....

Let there be light.
Loved it. All the twist and some good surprises. I've Downloaded the next book in the series. Can't wait to get started.

A Mixed Experience
As a fan of the Ancient Origins Series, I found "Let There Be Light" to be a mixed experience. The character development is strong, and I was initially engaged by the plot. However, halfway through, the story started to drag, and my interest waned.
The narration by Gildart Jackson was inconsistent, with character voices changing over time, which disrupted the immersive experience. Additionally, the book's abrupt ending left many threads unresolved, which was disappointing despite knowing there's another book in the series.
Overall, while "Let There Be Light" has its merits, the pacing issues, inconsistent narration, and lack of a satisfying conclusion made it less enjoyable than the first two books.

The absolute amateur performance of the narrator
All three books had a good story line, but the performance was abysmal and made listening a chore, so I just gave up.
