Leonidas of Sparta

Do not waste your time with this book - I have done it for you. It is an embarrassment to be considered among history books. Of the 23 chapters, if you stripped away the constant repetition and padding, you would be lucky to fill half a chapter with useful information. The author can clearly write but for some reason, even a modicum of research was beyond their brief. I could enthuse for hours about the many fabulous books in the Audible collection but sadly this is not one of them. You will probably hit triple digits if you count the number of times they used the word ‘testament’. Why did the author even bother …
