Truly awesome!
With Simon Turney, I find I hold high expectations. This second volume of the series did not disappoint. Somehow darker than other works and more personal in the struggles of the characters. As usual the action is simply second to none - like you are able to smell the blood and hear the clashing iron. Top shelf stuff!

Excellent
The best so far. Turney has come a long way from his first books. I look forward to reading further in this series.
