Just amazing
I listened to this audiobook on the behest of my partner, who'd already listened to it.
Its not my usual genre, but I just could not stop listening to Alison's arduous and amazing journey.
A true inspiration; the book, the person and her story. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Just Incredible!
I loved this book. What a life Alison Wright has lived, such horrifying trauma and yet such resilience to keep getting back up time and time again. I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone interested in real-life stories of triumph of the body and spirit. Narrated by the author in a no nonsense manner, the book gripped me from beginning to end, leaving me with great admiration for this remarkable, deep thinking, adventurous and caring woman.

A story of courage and hope
Loved the story and the detail of this courageous woman. She’s such an inspiration. While I am so
glad the author read the book, the expression was a bit dull.

Learning to breath
My first listening to an audiobook.
A fantastic emotional and moving account of a true survivor. Inspirational journey and full of great cultural knowledge. Listening to your pronunciation and translation of all that was in a foreign made your story come to life so much more for me as if I was traveling along side you.

Inspiring
Having lived for a short while in Laos and being an avid photographer I felt like I was walking along side Alison. I was enthralled with her story and positivity and overall drive to keep living a great life. Your journey sounds extraordinary. Very inspiring. SG
