Incredible way to start learning italian!
We're going to Italy for our honeymoon and I wanted to quickly pick up some Italian so I could surprise my wife with my 'fluency' once we landed. I came across Paul Noble's course and decided to give it a go (his accent was a big help, sounded like a friendly teacher). well, by the 36th chapter (the rapid fire 'test' of all the things you learnt throughout the course) I barely had to pause the audiobook to answer them all.
The course is very well structured. It is repetitive, but you'll see that this is actually REALLY helpful. for remembering the content.
100% would recommend this audiobook and anything else by Paul Noble. Now I'm going to give the advanced Italian course a try :)

Absolutely fantastic.
I’ve done all 3 of his books and they are the best. He makes learning enjoyable and easy. I wish there were more books to continue with as every other Italian language book I’ve downloaded so far is awful.

Helpful, clear and easy
I finsh the audio in 3 or 4 times, sometimes I can listen to 3 hours without breaking. It’s fascinating to learn with this audio! So much worth learning. With the same amount of time spending, i can tell it’s a hell lot better than Duolingo. It gets you understand the transformation of words and get to speak all the conversations covered! And you don’t even feel you are studying!! Millie grazie!

Never thought I’d learn Italian so easily!
I wish this book would never end! I repeated every chapter before moving onto the next to ensure it stuck and I’m so happy with everything I’ve learned so far! I’ve already recommended this audible book to so many people 😅

Easy to learn and remember language course
Very much in the style of Michel Thomas's learning method Paul Noble uses simple phrases that are highly repeated utilising the Spaced Repetition method well known to enhance the ability for long term remembering of subject material. I've been learning Italian on and off for the past few years and this course had me remembering and speaking useful phrases very quickly. Although I already had a good grasp of romance language structure and their verb conjugations I'm sure a beginner will still pick up the simple sentences and create their own. I'll certainly keep this at the top of my grab bag of language learning tools.

Fantastic
13 hours of content which I grabbed for 1 token, can now make basic sentences in Italian and have been set up with simple grammar rules which will allow me to use new terms easily!

Excellent course, well presented and very effective.
A very good course that was a great adjunct to my use of Duolingo and private lessons face to face with a teacher. All three methods are affective and use different teaching styles that work exceptionally well together. About to begin Paul Noble's next book in this series.

Incredibly well-structured course content
I wanted to title this review "absolutely fantastic" - because it is (!) but I specifically want to sing Paul's praise for the way he explains and utilises examples so listeners can better understand why the language is structured as it is and recall the knowledge with greater ease. Hands down, this is the best italian language course I've come aross. For those who want an engaging and impactful experience where you truly feel like you've learnt a lot in a short amount of time, look no further than this excellent Audiobook.
