About this listen
This innovative lesson series is perfect for anyone starting to learn guitar. It teaches the 10 most important chords and strumming patterns. There is no discussion of musical theory. The learner begins to play real music from the very beginning. The soundtrack includes 16 two minute long play along lessons. The chord and strumming pattern don't change so the student is given a great opportunity to really master the chord and rhythm.
Lessons include: Tune the Guitar, The E Chord, The D Chord, The A Chord, The C Chord, The G Chord, The F Chord, The B Chord, The A Minor Chord, The D Minor Chord and the E Minor Chord.
You'll also learn the most compelling benefits of practicing guitar as well as the 16 most important guitar types. Give this book when you give a guitar as a gift for a child. This work is also supported with extensive online materials. This work should inspire and challenge any student of guitar age seven and up.

Worst Instruction Book Ever
This is the worst instruction book ever. It doesn't teach you anything about playing guitar. It barely gives a number of rhythms that you are meant to copy but doesn't tell you how. The instructor calls out a chord name but it is difficult to tell if he is saying E, D, C, etc as there is too much noise from the backing track. He starts off with tuning and then goes straight into chords. When he says E chord, he says down up down up down up down up all through the backing track. There is nothing to tell you how to play an E chord, what notes to play, or why it is an E chord. The only thing I learned from this is not to buy any of their other offerings. Surely someone in Audible has the responsibility to check if the book actually does what it is meant to. Surely they are not just there to take money from customers. OR ARE THEY???????
