Jojo Genius !

I almost feel guilty loving this book so much. Thanks Jojo, I obviously got this book on the back of the Me Befure You series which was also an emotional rollercoaster. I'm a bloke, I'm not supposed to have feeling s,and emotions let alone allow a tear or two to escape from my eyes. What Jojo Moyes has done here is brilliant in so many ways and beautifully narrated. A big high five from a big fan.

Never run of the mill...Jojo never disappoints

Beautifully written, this not so average love story had me binge-listening, yet again. Loved this book and enjoyed the narrator.

Lovely story

I enjoyed the story. Very typical of Jojo Moyes so if you enjoy her other books you'll like this one.
I always struggle with Julia Franklin 's narrating style unfortunately.

Jo jo Moyes is a wonderful writer of love found, lost and won. I recommend this to even the hardest of heart as I am one of them.

A sad but beautiful love story.

This was a frustratingly beautiful love story. Another example of life’s sliding doors. My only criticism was some of the accents...Specifically the truly bad Africans.

A Love Story with a Difference

I was enthralled by this story and found it difficult to tear myself away from this audio book.

The story is exciting and the characters believable. My only criticism is that most of the voices for the characters sound similar; most of the male voices are difficult to distinguish and the same goes for the females. However, Julia Franklin's narration is very clear and faultless.

This story would appeal to anyone who likes romantic mystery stories with a difference.

.

I didn't enjoy Julia Franklin's narration of this book. I found it sometimes difficult to differentiate between characters made even more confusing with the flipping back and forth between Jennifer's and Ellie's stories.
The 1960s story was a little cliché. Socialite Jennifer is married to a controlling and distant mining magnate and has an affair with journalist who writes her passionate and romantic letters which are found 40 years later by journalist Ellie who embarks on a mission to uncover the mystery of the letters.
Not a bad read.
