Book 1 of an epic saga
I started listening to this fatastical tale a month ago, stopping about a 1/3 of the way in. I'd begun tuning out from all the manroot talk and my interest waned. But I returned to it during my holiday, rewinding back to the point where my interest held and listened without distraction - and I'm glad I did. It's a very interesting story of a young and virtuous half faerie girl. who embarks on a journey to find her destiny after she is sold into slavery. Although mature beyond her years, Lara soon discovers eroticism and the passions of womanhood as well as the magic of her faerie heritage. She meets many different friends and foes undergoing much personal growth along the way. I recommend for lovers of this genre or the curious seeking something different.
