Great story annoying narration
Unfortunately as much as I liked the story I found the narration annoying and very breathy , I won’t be buying the second book because of this sadly. I think this one is better off as a read and not audio .

overall ok, but much is needed to improve
overall the book had promise. took a while to get in to the narrators voice., but it was ok once I did.
The story is good, however it was very wordy and so so many miscommunications. although the MC is a highly trained assassin with fae powers she was pretty useless the whole way through. Towards the end of the book i was like get a grip girl how many times do we have to revisit your mental breakdowns. I can't give it five stars just based on the child like mc, and the unnecessary, repeated details and thoughts of the mc. I will listen to the next book and pray that the writer got better.

Assassin meets secret princess
It has the potential of a great story, but can’t help but feel this theme is overused and so can only be done if done really well. Main character has so much trauma it’s hard to have a grasp on what to feel and process. And yet somehow I felt the story didn’t move much, if not for the back stories there isn’t really much of a story. I know I’m supposed to hate the villain, but a he isn’t a good villain he comes of as pathetic not powerful and I don’t understand why it was so hard to overcome him. Main character annoys me more than main villain.
I guess not a bad story, there’s a fantasy world that might be fun exploring, but I did not enjoy the actual story telling because there’s too much happening at once.
