Publisher's Summary

Sometimes it’s in the depths of hell, that one finds their angel.

Samantha Jacobs thought she was aiding her government. She believed the chip she created, the one that could change the world, would be used for the good of mankind. But it was all a lie…and she discovered the truth too late. Now, Samantha will suffer dearly for her mistake.

Former SEAL Kye Hade has been hunting the people behind Project Arma for years. He never expected to fall back into their hands, waking in a cage alongside a beautiful, brainy woman.

The enemy wants the unthinkable—and the clock is ticking. Freedom won’t come without a fight, but when your rivals have proven they don’t die easily, Kye and Samantha might just pay the ultimate price.

wow what an ending

Well, if I was wondering what Nyssa  was going to do with this story, seeing as things were drawing to a close. There were a few more surprises in store. But firstly It was a great way to have the final bachelor fall. It wasn't an instalove thing or a  corny fairytale sweet.
It was angsty mixed in with romance.  I was kept in the dark well into the book, and then it dawned on me who the baddie might be. i just had to wait.  However, happily, i turned out to be  wrong.
I love that the group is all coming together  (and so did others, apparently), and you get to hear about past favourites and a wedding that was a long time coming. There was another little twist that made me laugh at the irony.
This books pace was quicker than Oliver's story, and I did feel the connection between these 2 more.
Samantha is kick ass smart and had been through a lot,  she was brave and confident, and I think that was Kye's downfall. He was attracted to her because of it.
In the dying mins of the novel, I guessed.... it made me sit bolt upright ..holy cow!!! What a gobsmacked disaster. It was a huge curve ball, and I was dying inside. I kept wondering who was going to save the day. It was  emotional and terrifying.
Nyssa did such a brilliant job with the plotline  throughout these books, and  I'm so glad I got to know the women.
I'm feeling like the team. What am i going to now!! thank goodness for Logans team.
as romance often does it left me with the HEA and the promise of 'Next Gen'
This was an absolute brilliant series,  I've only ever listened to this many books in a series with 2 other authors before.
The narrator's were superb. Great voices to great characters.
