................
With her headful of wild curls and wilder ideas, society has labelled Lady Imogen Loveless peculiar . . . and doesn't know she's one of the Hell's Belles - a group of vigilantes operating outside the notice of most of London.
Thomas Peck is not most of London. The brilliant detective has a keen ability to see things others miss, like the fact that Imogen isn't peculiar...she's pandemonium. If you ask him, she requires a keeper. When her powerful family discovers her late-night activities, they couldn't agree more . . . and they know just the man for the task.
Thomas wants nothing to do with guarding Imogen. He is a grown man with a proper job and no time for the lady's incendiary chaos, no matter how lushly it is packaged. Yet as the gruff detective becomes caught up in Imogen's world, they each discover an unexpected but fiery passion that threatens to consume them both.

Hold on to your hat and mind the explosions!
I adored Lady Imogen. She's probably my fave Helles Belle. Upbeat, intelligent, quirky and void of any pretentiousness, she has an infectious personality that can't help but endear her to most. This is another witty, fun and action-packed story that grabbed me from the first chapter and kept me highly amused and engrossed to the end. MJW's narration and characterisations were perfection and thoroughly enriched my listening experience. Can't wait to listen to the next instalment.

Love this series! Each one layers on frolicking storylines, lush romance & female-centric heroism!
Sarah MacLean is a master story-teller, I love the Belles universe, the broad characters & community she creates.. what a wonderful back-drop to rollicking romance.

Best of the series so far
I love the Hells Bells series but this one is definitely my favourite - the story is funny and exciting, characters are unique and loveable. Narration was fabulous and really enhanced the storytelling

Very light read
I found that it was very light on a the story and repeated with the inner monologue of the main characters. It didn’t have me hooked and it was very predictable. It was a good book to listen to after listening to a book that had a lot more depth.
