ABSOLUTELY WOW!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💖

Penny Reid you never disappoint.
This book is for the lovers of books who use them as brain food. I always learn something facinating from every one of Penny's well researched stories. I love the sizzling chemistry, push and pull then slow burn❤️‍🔥 between Anna and Luca and the comparisons between them and Tolstoy's Anna Karenina and Alexi.
Be prepared for this delicious banquet!🙏💞📚🌹
P. S. The narration of Fiona Fisher & Jacob Morgan brought the characters to life with their Russian pronunciations. This was my first time listen to Jacob Morgan & I am looking forward to many more.👏🥰

So much meh

I love Jacob's voice and was the only positive (and the only reason I gave the performance two stars both for him I would give it higher for him but the book doesn't deserve it). I wish he had more chapters. I found her so annoying and whiny and no idea how he fell in love with her. I found what she said eye rolling and I don't say this often cringey and it kinda just ended abruptly even with the added stuff there are a few things up in the air and I don't like that. So there were more negatives and then positives for me so sorry but just a big no for me on this one

Read better on Wattpad

I got so bored at Chapter 17 (last chapter before epilogue) that I had to DNF. I never DNF. This book is not like other girls meets I had a fantasy about my high school teacher but have to write it as a college situation so I can incorporate smut. There was no real build up and Anna's personality was a collection of pop and literature references. She annoyed me. Luka had so little personality it's actually impressive. They started out 2D and did not improve. If I didn't already like grumpy/sunshine trope I would hate it by now.
