Nice little listen
Very light hearted love story, however very predictable. easy audio book for a work day, but I wasn’t engrossed
The narrator putting on a girls voice drove me crazy when the story was being read by both male and female, it feels unnecessary for them to mimic the other gender.

Great little read/listen
This book was a little slow to get started I thought but turned into a lovely little book of second chance love which is something we all wish for. loved it.

Cute duel narration
This is actually book three in happy endings series.
I’m a big fan of shane east and both him and Julia do a good job.
Little to no angst
Hea? Yes
Romance? Yes
World building? Not really. Totally fine as a stand alone. No big secondary characters.

Feel Good
Slice of life story. Nice to have two characters be honest with their feelings without the angst. I really enjoyed Wanderlust 5/5 too.

The male protagonist is unlikeable

Corny and predictable
The performances are good with the exception of the male voice artist playing a female voice. The high, silly, cloying female voice makes the female character unlikeable. The story is blah.

Not my cup of tea
Listened because I’m a fan of Julia Whelan’s narration, particularly, Beach Read.
Plot: Couple meets, have zero difficulties/conflicts, roll credits. Plot seemed obvious and the sex scenes were a bit cringey. I could have forgiven the lack of plot development had there been wittier exchanges between the main characters.
Not my cup of tea.
