About this listen
Charlie's Angels meets The Thursday Murder Club in this action-packed, globe-trotting adventure full of twists, turns and whip-smart women.
Older women often feel invisible, but sometimes that's their secret weapon.
Billie, Mary Alice, Helen and Natalie have worked for the Museum, an elite network of assassins, for forty years. But now their talents are considered old-school and no one appreciates their real-world resourcefulness in an age of technology.
When the foursome is sent on an all-expenses-paid trip to mark their retirement, they are targeted by one of their own. Only the Board, the top-level members of the Museum, can order the termination of field agents, and the women realise they've been marked for death.
To get out alive they have to turn against their own organization, relying on experience and each other to get the job done, knowing that working together is the secret to their survival. They're about to teach the Board what it really means to be a woman - and a killer - of a certain age.

Enjoyable fun.
Definitely enjoyed the kick-butt older heroines. So nice to have an action-packed story with fierce main characters who aren’t in their 20s.
Some of the accents were a little iffy, but the performers did a better job than I could definitely do.

Giant Plot Holes, Some Terrible accents
Lots of big plot holes - like not asking obvious question to first contact. Then the Paris job had 4x information needed to find their target and joining dots wasn't as clever as presented. Why did members of a secret org use real names? The British accent for the male character was truly atrocious. Surely assasins had lots of money hidden away and wouldn't rely on pensions. Annoying how information about duplicity that characters knew was hidden from listeners.
